AEDM Day 9
Wow I am just barely making it tonight. I played with some pictures today and this is my favorite. It is my foot and Banna's in my pond. The quote fits us. When Banna used to sleep with me her Mother said she thought we lay awake all night figuring out ways to aggravate her or just plain shock her with the things we did or said to each other. I mean this is the child that handed me a booger in town. That when I quietly tried not to take it she very loudly asked me what did I want her to do with it that I HAD TO TAKE IT...

AEDM Day 8 and other things
For AEDM today I had to go to the hardware store, so I decided to get something I had been wanting for awhile. I had read on some blogs about using Red Rosin paper in art. So of course I wanted to try it. I got a roll and cut 2 little ATC sized pieces off of this big roll of paper. So I did 2 Zentangle style drawings on it tonight. The gold pen that I used in some places looks way better in person than in the scans. But here they are.
Today was a long day Hubby and I are in the process of building a shed. Well putting up one of those metal sheds. We have the base for it done other than screwing down the plywood for the floor. Tomorrow we plan on doing that and hopefully getting the shed up before the hurricane hits. It is supposed to start raining here about 3 pm if the thing doesn't speed up or slow down. So I guess we will be in a race with the weather tomorrow. The 20th of this month is our youngest grandchilds 6th birthday. He has grand plans and for the past few days has been putting in requests as to what he wants, party in the back yard for starters. His mom to make his cake "Cause you make goooooooooood cakes Mom" is what he told us. Me to make pumpkin bread for his birthday breakfast. Last but not least other than presents anyway he wants his Mimi(aunt) to make the meal for his party hot dogs, mac and cheese and pizza or and Shoo fly pie can't forget that one. Not sure why he wants it. Last year around Thanksgiving he heard about it at school or somewhere and decided he had to have it. So his Mom made it for him and neither one of them liked it. But now he says he did like it he was just to full to eat it when she made it.
