I had read on some blogs about using Red Rosin paper in art. So of course I wanted to try it. I got&nbsp; a roll and cut 2 little ATC sized pieces off of this big roll of paper. So I did 2 Zentangle style drawings on it tonight. The gold pen that I used in some places looks way better in person than in the scans. Well putting up one of those metal sheds. We have the base for it done other than screwing down the plywood for the floor. Tomorrow we plan on doing that and hopefully getting the shed up before the hurricane hits. It is supposed to start raining here about 3 pm if the thing doesn't speed up or slow down. So I guess we will be in a race with the weather tomorrow. The 20th of this month is our youngest grandchilds 6th birthday. He has grand plans and for the past few days has been putting in requests as to what he wants,&nbsp; party in the back yard for starters. His mom to make his cake "Cause you make goooooooooood cakes Mom" is what he told us. Me to make pumpkin bread for his birthday breakfast. Last but not least other than presents anyway he wants his Mimi(aunt) to make the meal for his party hot dogs, mac and cheese and pizza or and Shoo fly pie can't forget that one. Not sure why he wants it. Last year around Thanksgiving he heard about it at school or somewhere and decided he had to have it. So his Mom made it for him and neither one of them liked it. I have things for Christmas that I want to start but so far I just have not had the time to go to town and buy what I need. Instead of removing it they put a longer one in that will have to stay in place for 4-6 weeks. She has not been able to keep anything down since the surgery except soup and yogurt. When she saw the other doctor about 10 days ago he told her it was the stint making her throw up. Well the doctor today said it was not the stint but the fact that she had gall stones STILL in her liver. So he removed those and put the new stint in today. He said her gall bladder was so full of stones when they took it out that they probably dropped some of the stones into her liver then. If she throws up any more she is to go back to the ER. He thinks he got all of the stones out of her liver, but if she keeps throwing up then that will probably mean there are more. FUN I tell you. Keenan told me a few days ago "Ninnie can you make that stuff you made last Halloween?" When we figured out what he was talking about it was pumpkin bread. So today I made him some. They all loved it. That stuff never lasts very long. Last year I made it 5 or 6 times.<br /> I also started working on some Christmas decorations I want to do. Got a few small things I would like to make and thought what a good time to do it. So today I did some paper 3-d paper stars. Printed out the music to Silent Night and cut the stars out. Colored it red with pastel chalks. I think they are cute to be so simple. And wala you have&nbsp;silhouettes. Once Halloween is over a few minutes with a single edged razor will take it right off. I have done this before for Christmas and Birthdays. A crystal ball. Unlit it is frosted with some glitter. It is made from a light globe, a cheap light for Halloween that can either be red all the time or change colors from red to blue to green back to red. First about 10:30 Thursday night it went to storming. Lots of rain thunder and lightning. I always want to take pictures of lightning, but have never managed to get a good one. Every time it would start lightning I would just hold the shutter button down until the sky went dark again. This is what I got. 1 out of about 100. But I was thrilled with it. For some background on this, Jamie has been sick for 2 or 3 weeks it stated as a stomach virus(at least that is what we thought) but she just never got over it. Was still throwing up just about every morning. So she started throwing up and threw up some blood after she got to work. She decided it was not getting better but in fact worse. So she clocked out of work and went to our small town hospital. This was about 6:30am Friday. At about 10:00 am Trai came home and told me they were sending her to a bigger hospital in an ambulance. That she had a gallstone and if they sent her to the bigger hospital they could do the laparoscopic surgery instead of the standard big cut. The stone was blocking a duct to the liver so she also has jaundice. Yesterday afternoon they took the stone out and put a stint in the duct/vein. This morning they went back in and took her gall bladder out since her blood work came back better. In 3 weeks the stint will have to be taken out. We still do not know when she is coming home. If everything had not been infected she would have already been home but so far they have not told her when she will be getting out. Savanna is having small meltdowns(can they be small really, yeah for her they are small)she has got to talk to mom twice. As long as she is busy she is fine.<br /> </div><div style="text-align: center;">Updated at 1:15pm to say I talked to Jamie. When they took the gall stone out they went in down her throat so she did not have any cuts from yesterday but does have a bad sore throat. It will be at least tomorrow evening before she gets out. After reading about them I think they are better for you so I decided to try them. No tar or smoke but you can have the nicotine. So far it has worked for me. I was buying a carton of cigs one week and 2 cartons the next. Rotating around and around. The dang things were up to $39.03 for a carton. In the last 2 weeks I have smoked the 6 packs I had left when I bought the e-cig. As of 7:00am yesterday(September 24th) I smoked my last real cig. I loved this one because Autumn is my fav season. For some reason it has a slight bluish tint it is more vibrant in person. September 2nd was a little busy so a quick Zentangle style ATC. There are 4 grandkids in the house and as bad as it is for them they usually take Little Debbie snack cakes for snack to school everyday. That ends up being 3 boxes a week. So I took this weeks empty boxes and cut them into ATC size. That gives me 6 cards from each box to play with.
