Days 13 and 14 of 365

On the 13th me and Angela went to some cemeteries around here to take pictures. Is that morbid? Hubby thinks so. I have from the time I was small been drawn to older cemeteries. I took bunches of pictures one of my favorites was this one and I used it as my 13 of 365.

Today I took this picture a real close up of a tea light lantern hanging in a tree in my yard.It is 14 of 365

Here is the lantern in full view.

Both photos are great. I've always loved walking around in cemeteries too. They are the most peaceful place you can find anywhere.

Especially love the cemetary photo. I don't think it's morbid at all. I like to do it also. I imagine the people and who they were and what it was like when they lived. Isaac might have been a slave. I can picture him living and working in an old ante-bellum type mansion (dunno how to spell it) with magnolia trees in the yard. He might have been the much appreciated house man, thus got to be buried in the "family" cemetary. You think? xoxo

You are such an artist!!! Great photos. I too have taken pictures in graveyard (for the stone angel swap ANG had a few years back.) Love it!
Really like old cemetaries.
